MLC Platinum Global Fund (closed to new investors)

MLC Platinum Global Fund is an arrangement between MLC Investments Limited (as the trustee and the issuer of units in the fund) and Platinum (as the fund’s investment manager).

Performance

Fund returns are calculated using the fund's net asset value per unit (which does not include the buy/sell spread) and represent the fund's combined income and capital returns over the specified period. Returns are net of accrued fees and costs, are pre-tax, and assume the reinvestment of distributions.

All "p.a." returns are annualised.

For the purpose of calculating the “since inception” return of the MSCI index, the fund's inception date is used. The the gross MSCI index was used prior to 31 December 1998 as the net MSCI index did not exist then. Index returns assume the reinvestment of dividends from constituent companies, but do not reflect fees and expenses. Platinum does not invest by reference to the weightings of any index or benchmark, and index returns are provided as a reference only. The fund’s underlying assets are chosen through Platinum’s bottom-up investment process and, as a result, the fund’s holdings may vary considerably to the make-up of the index.

Due to the volatility of the underlying assets of the fund and other risk factors associated with investing, investment returns can be negative, particularly in the short-term.
