The fund is a sub-fund of Platinum World Portfolios PLC, an Irish-domiciled Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and an umbrella fund with segregated liability between sub-funds, established as an open-ended investment company with variable capital.

It seeks to provide capital growth over the long-term (generally 5 to 7 years) by investing in undervalued securities of companies in the Asia ex-Japan region.
