Changes to how you receive your communications

In February 2022, the Corporations Amendment (Meetings and Documents) Act 2022 came into effect. The new laws establish a more practical way for companies and responsible entities of registered managed investment schemes to send documents to members electronically. These changes primarily affect communications in relation to member meetings and statutory reports (including the annual report) (“Shareholder Communications/Unitholder Communications”).

Platinum Trust Funds, Quoted Managed Funds and Platinum Global Fund (mFund):

As a result of this change, we will send you Unitholder Communications electronically where you have provided us with an email address, unless you have specifically elected or requested otherwise. We therefore encourage you to provide us with your email address so we can communicate with you electronically when Unitholder Communications become available. Please note, we are required to advise you that you can elect (on a standing basis) to receive some or all of your Unitholder Communications in physical or electronic form or to not receive certain Unitholder Communications such as the annual report. You may also request on an ad hoc basis to receive a particular Unitholder Communication in physical or electronic form.
