May 2021: Platinum has recently identified and self-reported issues with our Platinum Trust Funds’ and Platinum Global Fund’s annual fee statements (issued as at 30 June each year) and exit statements (issued for investors that entered or exited during the year) going back to their introduction in 2005.

From 28 April 2021, Jamie Halse has been appointed as Portfolio Manager for the Platinum Japan Fund.

The Company advises that Platinum Investment Management Limited (“Platinum”) has appointed Clay Smolinski to the role of Co-Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) working alongside Platinum’s current CIO, Andrew Clifford. Clay’s appointment will take effect from 1 April 2021.

Platinum Investment Management Limited (“Platinum”) advises that Mr Joseph Lai has notified us of his resignation. Joseph is the portfolio manager of the Platinum Asia Fund.

We have been made aware that a Hong Kong based company is using the name Platinum Investment Management Co Ltd without our consent to promote financial products via an investment platform called E-Finance.
